Using Spring's Splendor's bushes template diagrams, select bush shapes and sizes you would like to use in your version of Fall's Beauty quilt. When assembling bushes, refer to Spring's Splendor pattern, Part Two, Steps 1, 2, and 3 for detailed assembly instructions. Using pumpkin template diagrams, prepare pumpkins for appliquéing into place. Use a waterproof fabric marking pen to draw lines and stems on the pumpkins. Use pumpkin illustrations as a guide. Use measurement lines as a guide for correct size. Using the fusible appliqué technique and scarecrow template diagram, prepare scarecrow for appliquéing into place. To create straw-like head, hands and feet, sew multiple seams on each of these pieces, through all layers using gold thread. Use measurement lines as a guide for correct size. Return to Pattern Index
