ASSEMBLING STRIP
The patchwork part of the Village sampler quilt is split
into three vertical strips, consisting of three sections within each strip.
Part One involves assembly of strip number three. Sections included in
this strip are as follows: The Benton's House Section, the Church Section,
and the Fence & Grass Section. (Diagram 1) After assembling the sections,
sew them together (Diagram 2) to form Strip Number Three. Instructions
for drafting templates are included with the Benton's House Section assembly
instructions.
