Referring to piece/fabric cutting guide, make templates, cut out appropriate fabric, and sew pieces together to make the Frenchwoman's House Section.

Piecing Sequence

Appliqué Arched Windows
Trace template diagram lines for window number 41 (Diagram I)) onto sheer fusible interfacing and layer with yellow fabric. Referring to Diagram II, stitch slightly outside of drawn lines. Slit Interfacing, trim edges to scant 1/4" seam allowance, clip corners, turn, smooth edges using toothpick and finger press edges. Make three windows. Using window placement guide (Diagram III), pin windows into place and machine appliqué edges.
