Step
7) Pull fusible interfacing away from fabric and
make a slit through interfacing only (see Diagram 6).
Carefully turn right side out, gently pushing out points
and corners from inside (use toothpick to help with this
process). Finger-press seam edges. Do not press with
iron.

Step 8)
Using overlay, position chimney, making sure raw edges
are under roof fabric, and house on background (make sure
door is aligned with path from road). Carefully remove
overlay. Using a pressing cloth, press house into place.
Referring to Diagrams 7, applique chimney to background
beginning on left side and progress up, over and down
right side. End stitching. Following arrows in Diagram 8,
applique house to background beginning at the bottom of
the right side of the door.
Step 9)
Repeating fusible applique steps, prepare window (see
Diagram 9). Using overlay, position window on house.
Press and applique in place (Diagram 10). Finish house by
stitching in the ditch between house and roof.

Step 10.) Prepare chimney, door, and
windows, referring to First House instructions.
Step 11.)
Referring to Diagrams 11 and 12, stitch interfacing to
two sections of house (Trim a scant 1/4" away from
seam line. Clip corners and points. Turn interfacing to
back. Finger press seam allowance.
