If you received the last letter from Emily, you know that there are changes afoot here at QuiltersVillage. Emily (or Missy, as we now know) has moved on to other stitching adventures, and I've been elected to the newsletter-writing role. I have to admit that I am a bit leary of taking on this job, but Em (or should I call her "M" now?) has assured me I'll soon feel right at home. Quilters have a way of making a person comfortable.
I'm not privy to all the details, but I can tell you that there's a new look coming down the line for QuiltersVillage, and we're working towards creating a better online experience for all our readers. I'm dying for a sneak peek, but I'll just have to wait with the rest of you!
I am excited to be here. I've always had an affinity for fabric, and a forgotten box of beads, buttons and trim is a textile treasure chest for me. I love trying out new techniques, and since I'm fairly new to quilting, I'll be learning right along with a few of you.
