Many thanks to all of you who shared your quilting stories. It seems I'm not the only quilter stitching memories into fabric!
Quilts have been carted around town or carried across continents as we quilters search for every ounce of time to stitch. We pack special on-the-go projects to squeeze in a bit of stitching at ball games and doctor visits. We write journals in fabric, find textile therapy, and take comfort in our quilts. We show off our creative selves in stitching.
These past few weeks, I've read tales of wretched home ec classes that had me rolling with laughter, marveled at endless handquilting for a "mother-in-law worth every stitch" and met more than a few fabric loving feline friends. (It's true––cats love cotton!)
I got caught up in mini-mysteries. (Who was Pete in Sydney, and what happened that day?) I smiled at some stories, cried at others, and I loved every letter you wrote.
